What do we mean by digital literacy? Digital literacy refers to an individual’s ability to find, understand and compose clear information through writing and other media on various digital platforms. Digital literacy is evaluated by an individual’s spelling, structure, typing skills and ability to produce text, images, audio and designs using technology.

 

In the workplace there are certain tasks you may be required to complete:

 

·       Access company emails

·       Communicate via these emails

·       Create documents (Signage or any workplace related paperwork)

·       Using various technologies (computers, scanners etc)

·       Access Zoom for online meetings

·       Set up a work account

 

The purpose of this project is to ensure you feel comfortable and confident to complete any task required from you in the workplace but also ensure you feel comfortable and confident completing the steps required to get you into the workplace.
